"Research Use Only": What the Label Means
What research-use-only (RUO) labelling means for buyers of research peptides, and why suppliers ask for a researcher declaration.
Not a medicine
Research-use-only materials are supplied for laboratory investigation. They are not medicinal products, have not been authorised for human or veterinary use, and are not intended for diagnosis, treatment or consumption.
Why suppliers verify buyers
Responsible suppliers take steps to make sure materials reach legitimate research settings. At Pepteria every buyer registers, signs a researcher declaration and is subject to verification checks, and orders are paid by traceable bank transfer.
Buyer responsibilities
Researchers remain responsible for complying with the laws and institutional rules that apply to them, including safe handling, storage and disposal. Rules differ between countries; when in doubt, consult your institution or a qualified advisor.
